QGel's mission is to pioneer three-dimensional (3D) cell-based screening assays to safely reduce the time-to-market of new drugs.
Seed financing has helped QGel achieve three key milestones: (i) the successful transfer of technology from EPFL to QGel, (ii) the upscale of manufacturing, and (iii) validation of product efficacy and reproducibility among over 200 customer accounts globally since prototype launch in July 2010. QGel now looks to establish itself as a key supplier of next generation assay technology to the Pharmaceutical industry.
